“It’s not about the money.”
Since making a conscious effort years ago to make my life, “not about the money,” I have come to realize – it is.
I have conversations everyday with people about money, those who have it and those who don’t. The more conversations I have, the more I realize; priority for most everyone includes money.
Quality of life is paramount. The overwhelming majority of people share a commonality of the following priorities:
- Spirituality
- Health
- Relationships
- MONEY
I took action, making an effort to not prioritize “stuff”, tangible goods and material objects. The process consisted of realizing my own priorities, organizing my finances and simplifying life.
Money is important, so much so, it helps achieve life beyond subsistence. A good steward of money makes the world a better place to live. Money is not evil. Our relationship with money often is.
We are born and we die, it’s what we do in the middle that truly matters
