Is it possible to create a diverse society with positive engagement between different religions, politics and culture? Seemingly polar ends of beliefs are pointing fingers at one another, convicted that I am right and you are wrong.
The plurality of religious traditions and cultures has come to characterize every part of the world today. Diversity can and has meant the creation of religious ghetto’s with little traffic between or among them. Today, diversity is a given, but communication between religious, political and cultural differences is not; it is an achievement. Mere diversity without real encounter and relationship will only yield increasing tensions in our societies.
