Condolences to the Family

October 19, 2018

My mother Rosanne Hershey Goldman was a nursing assistant and office administrator for your father from 1962-1963. He delivered my brother Barry Goldman and my mother speaks of your father very fondly and often. She now resides at Landis Homes in Lancaster and wanted me to let you know that she thinks of your family! Jill Goldman

I was sincerely sorry to hear about your Father’s death.  I knew him very
well, both as a doctor and a friend.  He lived a long and very productive life.  My father, Eugene Saylor, and "Tony"  were also good friends.  I can
see them now, sitting on a beautiful whie cloud, tuning their instruments getting ready to play with that great Heavenly Orchestra.  What a great father and grandfather he must have been, for you’ve both (Sam & Karin) been very sucessful. Of course the schools in the City of Lancaster were very good
that time too….especially Stevens and Fulton.  Many of your teachers have
retired now, but we’re all doing things to help our community. . (except
subbing).  Again, please accept my deepest sympathies.

Sincerely,
Barbara Saylor – "You’re ‘old’ Stevens School Librarian.

Dear Karen and Sam,
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your father.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  We hope your memories of him will help to sustain you in the days to come.  He will be missed.

In loving sympathy,
Toni Jean, Jeff and Michael Clements

Your father was a warm, caring individual and I will certainly miss him! I have very fond memories of your father from my days at Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital.
Sincerely,
Stephanie K. Glick

Dear Karin and Sam,
Your father often spoke of you-he was so proud.  He was a true gentleman.  He knew how to treat patients and medical staff. He will be fondly remembered.
Sincerely,
Pat Klugh
(nurse from former Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital)

So sorry for your loss.

Dear Karin,
Condolences on the passing of your father.  We talked only briefly at LVC, but that was enough to know he was proud of you.
In sympathy,
Steve Williams and Susan Verhoek

Dear Karin, Sam & family,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad.  I had just been to Lebanon and saw Kitty Yocum and we were both wondering how he was  doing.  At least now he is back with your mom.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Love,

As a member of the Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital family, my sincere condolences. Your father was from the old school of doctors and will always be remembered as a warm, caring skilled practioner. My Mother, Anne Faltine, was the operating room supervisor for many years at LOH and always admired, respected and spoke highly of your Father. He must have been one of the last of the old group that included Drs. Heistand, Hillard, Rigano, Wright, and Gerlach, just to mention a few.

Dear Karin, Sammy and family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your father, I’m Bette Morris daughter, and former patience of your dads.
Your father was such a brilliant man and will be missed.
Sammy my Mother talked about you all the time, she always said that you were the cat’s meow, and I think she was so proud of both you and Karin for the successful people you became.
I don’t know if you’re father ever told you, but I named my son after your father his name is Erich Lee Anthony and he has named both his sons with the middle name of Anthony in honor of your father also.
Take care and may God bless you all.
Denise Morris Race
