I just heard of Skips passing last night and I can only say that the world lost a dear, kind , sweet and wonderful guy. I spent many, many hours with skip and took trips all over including our wonderful trips to Memphis. I moved to Baltimore 20 years ago and lost touch but ive had a picture of Skip and I taken in 1980 goofing off ,hanging over my desk all these years. If fact last year I had the picture blown up because it made me smile. Its just surreal to think he is gone. I am truly sorry for your loss Vickie, Toni and Louann. He was a dear person….Phillip Mearig

I was saddened to hear of Skip’s passing. He was a good friend during our high school days, always so sweet and kind. He always made me smile, even when we both got poison ivy! I hadn’t seen Skip in many years, but I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Lisa Ridder Sipe

My best memories and times spent with Skip, were the times we spent throwing frisbee, canoeing at Speedwell, and all the fun at the swimming pools of Lititz. I also spent some time visiting with Skip during his illness,he never lost his unique sense of humor. I also remember how Skip made people around him , have a better time. He was the kind of guy you wanted around….I will always remember Skip…my friend………rest in peace Skip, your friend Steve Smith

I remember Skip only from high school but what I do recall was that he could always make you laugh and he treated others with respect. I’m sorry for your loss. The world is much smaller now, Kory Feister.

Skip was one of my favorite classmates in the Warwick Class of ’82. My husband and I fully enjoyed visiting with him at our 25th reunion.  We laughed and reminisced of the middle and high school years we shared together.  I was very impressed with him. He remembered what car I drove and the color of it!  Years later, I was shopping and we bumped into each other.  He was sharp as a whip, and he had a keen sense of humor and he even asked about my husband.  Losing Skip is such a tough loss for the graduating class of ’82 for he was a gentle gentleman. Skip has found enteral rest and peace.  My deepest condolences to his loving family, and to his faithful companion, Judy.  Sincerely, Mary KimbroughTaylor
