Mary T. (Reilly) Conner, 84

Mary T. (Reilly) Conner, 84, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in her residence.
Born in Ashland, PA, she was the wife of the late Harry T. Conner, who passed on April 17, 1993. They had been married 34 years. She was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Schlader) Reilly.
Mary was a retired Registered Nurse who graduated from Ashland State Hospital, Ashland PA in 1951. Mary started her Nursing career in New York City. She then moved to Philadelphia and worked at Wills Eye Institute and the University of Penn Hospital. Mary and Harry moved to Lancaster in 1963. In Lancaster Mary worked at St. Joseph Hospital, Hamilton Arms Nursing Home and retired from Willow Lakes in Willow Street, PA.
Mary cherished her sons and grandkids, and she was an avid reader. She loved to play bingo.
She was an active member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Lancaster.
Mary is survived by 3 sons: Thomas Conner and Denise of Lancaster, John Conner and Shelly, and Andrew Conner and Pamela of Millersville; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen M. Boyer.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Philips the Apostle Catholic Church 2111 Millersville Pike Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel as Celebrant. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
