Charles Patrick Connor, Jr., 62

Charles Patrick Connor, Jr., 62, of Millersville, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles P. Connor, Sr. and Jean E. (Kipphorn) Link. Charles was the husband of Bambi Lynn Connor.

Charles worked as a Branch Manager for W.E. Johnson. His most recent employer was Kelly Cadillac where he loved his job as a Salesman. He was a former Master Mason at a Masonic Lodge in Birmingham, Alabama.

Charles enjoyed golfing, being outdoors, riding his Harley motorcycle, and he adored his Corvette. He was a music lover who enjoyed listening to music as well as playing the drums.

In addition to his wife, he is survived his sons, Billy Patrick Connor and Shane Connor, both or Birmingham, AL, daughters Kristy of Birmingham, AL, and Celina Marie Starling, of Dothan, AL, brother Gordon Link of Lancaster, sister Kathy McGarrity of Lancaster, step-sisters Heather and Stacey, Aunt Doris Wagner of Lancaster, and multiple loving nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Phillip Scott Starling.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA with Deacon Martin Light officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.

I am so sorry to hear about Pat. Pat was a wonderful man. I am so happy he found LOVE and happiness before God called him home. My condolences go out to his wife and family. Prayers for you that loved and have now lost him.

Patrick…I remember when Lynn and I met you. We all shared alot of laughter and tears. I remember us dancing on my front porch in Haleburg, Alabama. It didn’t take much for us as far as entertainment goes.  So I choose to remember the good. Rest in peace.
