Charles R. Cousar, 87

God called Charles R. Cousar age 87, home Tuesday July 28, 2015. He was born in Nogales AZ. July 13, 1928. He was the son of Robert and Mae Campbell Cousar. He was married 60 years to Joan E. Schmid Cousar. He was the father of Mark J. Cousar (Anne) and Susan E. Cousar Woodward (RAY). He is also survived by one granddaughter, Jennifer Cousar and four grandsons Michael Cousar (wife Natalie), Andrew Cousar, Ryan McGovern (wife Sarah), and Jonathan McGovern (wife Hannah). He was also survived by two great-granddaughters, Cassidy and Elle McGovern. He is also survived by a brother Phillip Cousar and many nieces and nephews.

Chuck spent 6 years proudly serving in the United States Navy, serving as a Navy Corpsman. After the service, Chuck went to the University of Texas and graduated with a BS in Business. He retired from RCA Corporation after 25 years. He also worked part-time at the Manheim Auto Auction. Chuck was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod). He was a loving and good husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Chuck was an avid swimmer until the last weeks of his life, and a huge New York Yankee fan. He will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church located at 308 Petersburg Rd. Lititz, PA 17543 on Saturday, August 1, 2015. Visitation will be with the family from 12:00PM until 1:00PM. The funeral service will follow at 1:00PM. Immediately after the service, the interment will be held in the memorial garden.
