Linda Crowers Rogers, 82

June 27, 2023

Born in Darby, PA, Linda resided in Ocean City, NJ, Ocean View, NJ, and Bradenton, FL.

Linda was active in various high school clubs and cheerleading. She worked as a bank teller in the Proof Department and was the Gift Shop Manager at Sarasota Jungle Gardens. She loved her family, their farm house, spending time gardening, crabbing, and the beach. She was an expert quilter and crafter – always working on new projects.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Rogers; her parents, Irvin and Dorothy Crowers; her sister, Shirley Murphy and husband Joseph; her sister, Joyce Carriero and husband Jerry; and her nephew, Scott Carriero.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Rogers Sprowles and her husband David; son, Richard Rogers and his wife Lisa; grandchildren Maverick (USMC), Hailey, and Tyler Sprowles, Mitchell and his wife Alyssa, Connor (USCG), and Noah Rogers; great-granddaughter, Elora Rogers; niece, Debbie Murphy Fedorochko and her husband Mike; nephews, David Murphy and his wife Marsha, and Jerry Carrieno and his wife Patty; and special friends Nataliya Montgomery, Don Stewart, Gail Flores, and Harve Lobe.

A private ceremony to be held at a later date. In memoriam, donations can be made to Welsh Mountain Home, 567 Springville Road, New Holland, PA 17557.

My beautiful, creative, talented , witty Mother!
Sorry you didnt have enough time to finish all your “projects”, time got the best of you.
I will always remember your creative energy, your love of the beach, good food & wine , and your family.
I felt you leave in the passing gust of wind, little did I know it was you until shortly after. 
Im sure there was big reuion! That must have been the thunder I heard !
I hope your are at peace and enjoying your reunion with Dad and the rest of your family.
