Very sorry to hear of Claire’s passing.  I only knew her for a short time decades ago and lost contact with her.
She was related to my cousin, Mike Gavala, who passed away several years ago.  My condolences to claire’s 
children.

Claire Ann was my first friend. We were first cousins born two weeks apart in Shenandoah, PA, and spent much of our infancy in the same playpen and matching carriages. Our families were close and although my parents moved to Connecticut, we spent all our holidays with Claire and her parents. They were very happy times. In recent years, and because my wife and I now live in California, we only got to see Claire and her two children every five years during pre-planned vacations to the east coast. They were always happy events and Claire made us feel like we had just seen each other the previous week. Claire loved my wife Judy and vice versa. They were kindred spirits. She will be greatly missed. God protect you, dear cousin. R.I.P.
