Dorothy (Dee) Dreer, 81

Dorothy (Dee) Dreer, 81 was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Dee was born in Philadelphia to the late Edward and Dorothy Wallace. A caring sister, devoted wife, selfless mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dee was best known as Mom Mom to all who knew and loved her.

Dee enjoyed volunteering at schools, delivering meals to the needy and working with children at her church’s preschool. She loved the beach, puzzles, reading and anything to do with children. Dee was happiest when she was with her family. She was an active member of the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ephrata.

Dee is survived by her husband of 61 years, Siegfried, sisters Renee Milligan, wife of George Milligan of Morgantown, Linda Wallace of Ephrata, son George, husband of Denise of Niagara Falls, daughter Kristina wife of Charles Black of York, son Joseph, husband of Jill of Morgantown, son David, husband of Tammy of Lancaster, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Charles F Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory – Lititz Pike Chapel
Date: Thursday, March 10
Hours of 10:00am – 11:30am

I have been worried that I hadn’t seen Dee on Facebook and I decided to look in obituaries and I’m am so saddened to find out she passed away 😭❤️ She along with Lee Javens at twin valley high school back in 1983 , I graduated, they were my favorite teachers and if it wasn’t for Dee and all her help I would have never graduated . Dee will be missed.  I will miss her ’cause she always had a kind word and a hug when we met.  She was a a blessing to all who knew her and her Church.  May God grant you, Sieg and family, His comfort and strength during this difficult time. God bless
