Virginia A. Dugan, 91

Virginia A. Dugan, 91, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of the late John P. Dugan, who passed away April 19, 1976, and the daughter of the late Vinnie (Cramer) Neuhauser.

She was employed as an inspector for RCA for 14 years until her retirement.

Virginia attended First United Methodist Church, Lancaster.

She enjoyed TV, crossword puzzles, gardening, and was an avid Phillies fan.  A woman with a truly giving spirit, one of her greatest joys in life was being a caretaker to those she loved the most.

She is survived by a son, William C. Dugan and his wife Kathy of Lancaster; seven grandchildren:  John, Joanne, Kelly, Michael, Shawn, Steven, and Stephanie; a number of great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a beloved niece, Janet Wagner of Lancaster.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis J. Wertz, a son, John Daniel Dugan, a brother, Gene Cramer, and a sister, Marion Sassaman.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster with Pastor Mark Thiboldeaux officiating.  Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Columbia at 1 PM.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, from 10 to 11 AM.
