Lala Duong, 75

October 23, 1946 - March 16, 2022

Lala Duong, 75, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Vietnam, she was the youngest of ten children born to the late Van V. Nguyen and Nam T. Duong. Lala was the beloved wife of Nhon Cao.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Lala devoted her time to her family and home. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and listening to Vietnamese music.

Along with her husband, Lala is survived by three daughters: Trang Cao and Caroline Cao of Lancaster, and Linh Cao of San Diego, CA. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jack Thai, Misa Lai and Benny Lai, and a sister in Vietnam. She was preceded in death by 8 siblings.

Services will begin at 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A viewing will follow services from 9 AM – 11 AM, with cremation to follow

I will truly miss this wonderful woman we called grandma..She was there from day one when both my children were born..We were next door neighbors n we were family..I was your hair stylist for your family for many years I will always cherish our memories as you were Grandma to all 3 of my girls Tara Sara n Emily. You are going to be missed my the Blankenstein family I will never forget all our times together eating the egg rolls you made every 4th of July for Sara n all the girls Birthdays n all the time we spent together for many years..Love you Grandma I am going to miss you .Love you💔😘
