i have known Allison and Greg for many years, but only got to meet Sandy breifly, one time in Cinncinatti while she was visiting her oldest daughter Melanie. I know she was a caring and much loved Mother, and Grandmother to Tony. Who I have also known many years. My condolences and prayers are with her family. She will be missed.

I first met Sandy in the early 1970s when we both lived in Cincinnati. She was not only a wonderful mother and compassionate nurse but also a loving and supportive friend who always had time for anyone who needed her. She helped me through some very difficult times with her understanding empathy and quiet strength. Sandy was also great fun with a wicked sense of humor. We shared many evenings at her kitchen table over endless pots of coffee (and an occasional glass of wine) just talking late into the night and sometimes just reading quietly together. I loved Sandy very much and treasure the memories I have of her. The world is a lesser place without her, and I extend my thoughts and condolences to Allison and Greg.
