PeggyAnn Fisher, 69

PeggyAnn Fisher, 69, of Columbia, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
She was the wife of Gregory L. Fisher, with whom she just celebrated 39 years of marriage this past Friday, February 9th. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of late Vincent A. and Emily M. Homan Repose.
A Licensed Practical Nurse for 37 years, PeggyAnn had worked at St. Anne’s Retirement Community and had served as the Director of the Alzhiemers Unit at Oak Leaf Manor.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Columbia, where she volunteered with the fish fry and on funeral luncheons.
She enjoyed antiquing and going to yard sales with her husband. She was known as an excellent cook, being known especially for her lasagna. She loved her dogs, Bella and Precious, and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and word searches.
In addition to her, husband, Gregory, she is survived by her daughters: Wendy married to Christopher Mayo of Lancaster, and Melinda married to Michael Kerns of Willow Street and by her granddaughter Kaitlin Lefever. She was preceded in death by her sister, SherryAnn Johnson.
Friends will be received on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 6-8PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 121 S. Second St., Columbia, PA. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in PeggyAnn’s memory to the Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center, 848 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
