May 03, 2020

Suzanne C. Hartman died on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Sue suffered from dementia for many years, but ultimately succumbed to COV1D19.

In the 1960’s, Sue went to work for Penn Dairies at the former Kilheffer’s Store in Grandview Heights. In 1986, she joined American Tourister to manage their store at the new Rockvale Square. After retirement, Sue went to Boscov’s Park City where she spent many years at the jewelry counter. Prior to her illness, Sue enjoyed family, travel, live theater, and music. Condolences to the Family

June 06, 2020

Dear Terri,
Bob Lemin told me last night about your mother’s passing. You and I have not been in touch since junior high & high school but I wanted you to know what an important impression your mother made on me. She was a kind and loving woman and set a strong example for me as a young girl. She treated all in her circle with great dignity and respect.
I’m sending heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I would love to hear from you, it’s been many years.
Sincerely, Jacqueline Warner

I just got the sad news last night.  I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom.  I miss talking to her at Boscov’s.  She was a wonderful lady.

I am sorry to read of Sue’s passing and of her difficult last years. I knew her many years ago. She was a bright and lovely woman. Sue was very proud of her family and with good reason. She will be missed.
You have my sympathy for your loss.

I was sorry to see that your Mother passed away.  I was a teenager when she hired me to work at the Pennsupreme store in Grandview.  She gave me my first “real” job! I remember her as a very hard worker and taught me how to work with the customers through her example.  Blessings on your family at this hard time
