My sincere condolences to the family. I was a former co-worker with Paul. I know what it is to lose loved ones but take solace in the fact she is with her maker-God- and there is no more pain and suffering there. God Bless you all.

What can I say about someone that has known me since I was born. Betty was like a second mom to all of us Martin Kids. We will remember the block parties and meetings at the back fence. Your mom was a very caring, hard working, loving person to all. She was so generous because she wanted all of you and us to have what she didn’t. I believe now that she is up with your pop and my pop keeping them in line. You are all in our prayers. Remember that even though we won’t have our summer porch session’s about the neighborhood this summer that your mom is only a prayer away and that she is and always will be "part" of you all. God Bless

How do I say good-by to someone that I have known for over 60 yrs. Betty I will miss you but I know in my heart that you are in a better place and out of pain. We have been through alot through the years, good times and bad. I will always remember when we were young and the things that we did together with Paul & Dick. I was so glad that in your finale hour, I could be with your and help take care of you. I will miss the "summer porch sessions and back fence" talks but I have the memories. Please PRAY for all of us now. Along with Dick I know now that I have another ANGEL to watch over all.

Love your Old Friend
Helen

There are too many words to describe what my Nana means to me. But I feel very lucky to know that she is up there watching over me and the kids, just like she did while she was here.  I miss her so much and will spend the rest of my life telling my children how much she loved and adored them.  So my wish now is that the hardest working woman on earth rests peacefully.  I love you Nana.
Thank you for teaching me everything I know about being a good mother.

Love,
Renee, Randy, Steven, Cooper, Zach, and Maddie.

Ashley,

It was a brief meeting in the hospital room.  Your grandmother seemed to be such a lively person!  Our sympathy to the whole family.

Fay and Bill Varner

My deepest sympathy to the family of "Betty."  Betty & I worked together at St. Joe Hospital when she was at the Price Street Towers apt. complex Health Center.  At that time the health center was managed under home health.  Many good times I had with Betty.  She was so wonderful to the residents.  We had many a laugh together.  Also, knew Paul, from working at SJH.  I was a nurse aide when I met him, and later worked with Betty.  I went to nursing school and later went back for more nursing degrees’ and am now a nursing school instructor.  I will always remember Betty.

Sincerely
Nancy C. Groff RN/BSN
