My sincere condolences to you and your family. The picture of Doug is perfect; that is the way I will remember him with that smile on his face. I have known and worked with Doug for 33 years; I know I will miss him dearly.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.  To say that Doug was a great guy to all who knew him doesn’t do him justice.  My children loved their Uncle Doug just as much as they loved his daddy, Pop Pop.  Doug was the epitome of his dad:  Such a big heart – such a big hearty laugh. I pray his family, children, grandchildren, sisters and friends will always remember those hearty laughs of his and soon be able to smile when they take a walk down memory lane.  He would want us all to remember him that way, I believe. My family will miss him but he will always live in our hearts with that great big smile and hearty laugh.
God Bless You, Doug.

Nancy,
My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your Husband. May these few words somehow bring you some comfort and know you are in my prayers.
I pray that God will continue to keep his arms wrapped around you and your family.  That God hold you up during this difficult time and lead you toward healing. May he also bring you comfort during your darkest hours.  May your heart find warmth with the love you shared. May the memories made over the years make you smile.

Nancy-  Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.  We had a good working relationship with Doug, but more importantly we had a great friendship throughout the years with him.  Doug was a wonderful man and will be sadly missed by all that dealt with him here at Pennco Tool.

I was very sad to see Doug picture and write up in the newspaper of his passing.  I was a very small part of Doug’s childhood.  I babysat him and Mary Beth and Anne Louise and Sharon when these children were very small and lived with their Mom and Dad on Orange Street many, many years ago.  I recall the passing of Doug’s own father when he was very young and how it affected Doug.  I knew his Mother, Julianne when she carried his sisters and I am sorry I never knew Doug as an adult but I never forgot him or his family.  I hope you show this write up to his sisters and Mother and maybe they will recall my name.  This death really hit me hard. When you start seeing someone you saw as a child go before you do…it is so difficult.  I was happy to see Doug married and raised a nice family and I hope his wife and children will remember him the way he always made you smile.

We will miss looking out our door and not seeing Doug everyday. We will keep him in our hearts. My prayers go out to you and your family. We will always be here for you Nancy if you need anything at all. Sorry for your loss.
