After moving to Willow Valley, he served as Committeeman for the Lakes District in West Lampeter Township and as a member of the Lancaster County Republican Committee.
Dick was devoted to family and had a strong interest in exploring and communicating his family background. Condolences to the Family

March 22, 2015

Please accept my sincere condolence on the passing of your loved one.  My husband and I knew Dick in two ways.  My husband worked at Hercules.  Your Mother went to high school with him and introduced us at Lebanon Valley when he came down from Penn State for Intercollegiate Orchestra.  We unfortunately lost contact with them when they left the area.  They were both parents to be proud of.  May God bless your families as you grieve for both of them.  They are physically gone but wonderful memories remain.
Beverly Lupfer
