Stephanie Jo Herr, 30, passed away unexpectedly Sunday October 24, 2021. Stephanie was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was the beautiful daughter of her loving parents, Bryan D. Herr and Rebecca J. Melanson.

Stephanie graduated from Penn Manor High School in 2010. Afterward she continued her education at HACC and was fulfilling her passion to care for others as an Emergency Department Technician at UPMC in Lititz. Her goal was to become a Registered Nurse.

When asked to describe Steph in a word, or, what comes to mind when you think of her? Everyone who knew and loved her talked about her beautiful smile. Her infectious laugh. Her ability to light up the room. Her amazing personality and fantastic sense of humor made her unforgettable. Stephanie loved music and attending concerts. She adored pandas and had a love for Philadelphia sports. But most of all, she adored and loved her children. Stephanie leaves behind two wonderful boys, Caleb, age 10 and Tyler, age 8. She also adored and loved her fiancé, Brad P. Wallace, and his son, Jamison K. Larkin.

In addition to her parents and children, Steph leaves behind two loving stepparents, Edward J. Melanson and Michele L. Herr. Brothers, Justin D. Herr, married to Katie A. Herr, Matthew R. McCune, Matthew K. Rea, married to Nicole M. Rea, and Devin M. Rea. Grandfathers Allan Ray Frey, Sr. and Charles W. Herr. Great-grandmother, Joyce M. Herr, and not to forget the many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and of course so, so many friends. Stephanie touched so many lives and she will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. To The Family & All The Loved One’s Of Stephanie
I’m so sorry for your loss. I had not met Stephanie she was my Grandson’s Dylan & Brandon Aromold Step-Mother. I had seen pictures of Stephaine with my Grandson’s & of course their Dad Danny Armold Stephanie came across as a kind, caring, a loving family woman…One of my favorite pictures of her was a family portrait Dylan & Brandon were very little so were Stephine’s children..Another favorite picture was one I saw of Stephaine in her Wedding Dress on the day she married my Grandson’s Dad Danny. Stephaine looked georgeous, glowing…she had such a beautiful smile.I’m sure Stephaine was just as beautiful on the inside as the out.
I hope everyone that knew Stephaine holds on to all the treasured memories of her.

Steph has only been a part of my life for less than a year but has made no small impact. We worked together in the UPMC Lititz Hospital Emergency Department. She makes everyone feel so comfortable around her and so easy to know. My life will forever have a giant void in it in her absence. I miss you and look forward to seeing you again in glory. May God wrap His loving arms around and comfort all those who love her. Steve P

Stephanie was our grandson’s mother and she was great at being a mom.  She welcomed us into her family and we are forever grateful.  We’ll be there to assist Rebecca and Eddie with raising the boys.  The world has lost a caring, giving person as a result of this tragedy and it is so heart wrenching to feel the void that’s left. We know she’ll be with us cheering the boys on at their baseball games . . . . .  Jeff and Eleanor Bosserman
