August 20, 2018

My condolences the the Hohenwater family. My name is Jim Stauffer and back in 1988 Buck hired me at Exide as a forklift operator. I once asked Buck how he came to pick me for the job and he said, “I was looking through the applications and yours looked like a good one.” Over the past 30 years I have advanced through the ranks as among other things shift supervisor on 2 different shifts and am currently the warehouse supervisor. I often think of Buck who always seemed layed back and of course always smiling. He made a great change in my life 30 years ago when he picked me for the job I still have today. I am eternally greatful for the chance he gave me and will always think of him fondly.
