Amy R. Holler, 41

Amy R. Holler, 41, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, following a month long battle with lung cancer. 

Amy was born July 10, 1965 in Canton, Illinois and lived in Lancaster County since 1970.  She is survived by her children, Alexandra Elise Holler and John Edwin Holler at home, her parents, Dennis and Diana Roberts of Lancaster, a brother, David M. Roberts and his companion Suzan Matherne of New Orleans, Louisiana.  Also surviving are maternal grandmother Grace Renner, Farmington, Illinois, paternal grandmother Marie Dawson, Princeton, Illinois and paternal grandfather James Roberts, Avon, Illinois, boyfriend John Murr, Lancaster, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Amy graduated from Penn Manor High School in 1983 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Clarion University in 1988.  She was employed as a financial advisor for Private Consulting Group in Lancaster.  Her previous professional endeavors included various hotel sales and management positions, and as a sales representative with Four Star Marketing and Clipper Magazine.  She was formerly an ambassador for the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. 

Amy was well loved and will be fondly remembered by her family and wide circle of friends, for whom she was a constant confidante and source of support.  She enjoyed traveling and her trips to South Africa and Europe were especially memorable to her.  Amy also enjoyed frequent trips to Illinois, spending time with her many relatives.  Her hobbies included crafts and jewelry making.

Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with visitation from 3-4:00PM.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Amy Holler Family Memorial Fund in care of Hershey Federal Credit Union, 904 E. Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033 or to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603.

I was trying to look up Amy on Facebook and decided to google.  How sad I am to see her obituary.  We were friends many years ago in Harrisburg, Pa and had many adventures together.  I am so sorry for her family as this is many years late.
