Condolences to the Family

Dear family, I was sad to read about Mr. Hoover’s death. Although I didn’t have him as a full time fifth grade teacher at Farmdale, I remember having him for Math (I think!) My smypathy to each of his family and friends. May God wrap you in his love and give you a sense of peace as you continue this journey without him. Sincerely, Hope (Milbourne) Long

I am so, so sorry for your loss. I met Ken when I student taught across the hall from him at Farmdale Elementary.  Then, I worked next door to him until he retired.  Ken was always a gentleman, always even-keeled, and had a wonderful sense of humor.  He and I both used a device called StarLab when teaching science.  It was a vinyl planetarium that came in a duffel bag and was very large when opened.  Ken always helped me to fold that huge vinyl contraption up and get it back into the small bag when it came time for me to pack it up. That was Ken – always there to lend a helping hand to someone in need.  My sincere condolonces on losing this wonderful man.  Sincerely, Deb Donnan

Ken will be missed by so many people.  The way he lived his life with his family, friends, coworkers and members of St. Luke’s UCC church is a tribute to his Christian beliefs and giving nature.  He will be missed by all and blessings to Ann and Reid.  Church friend, Janie Markert

Ken was good man, husband, father and friend . For 32 years we were golf buddies and friends. Anne & I share fond memories of our dinners & good times. As a Christian man he was a serious disciple who reached out to help those in need in his community as well as a teacher. He will be well remembered and surely missed.
