Lynn L. Kemper, 81

Lynn L. Kemper, 81, of Brethren Village, Lititz, PA, died at home on Sunday, October 21, 2018. His wife, June (Kappendobler) Kemper survives. Born in Lititz, he was the son of the late Harry H. and Mildred (Bigler) Kemper.

Lynn graduated from Lititz High School and DeVry University, Chicago. He served 2 years in the Army with the 3rd Infantry Division stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany and then 2 years in the reserves.

After a 38 year career at RCA / Burle Industries, Lancaster, he retired in 1998. Living in Cornwall, PA, Lynn and his wife June moved to Brethren Village in 2014.

Lynn enjoyed roaming the South Mountain in Cornwall with his dogs and his camera. He also enjoyed oil painting, fishing, hunting and researching his family genealogy back to 1430 in Siegen, Germany.

Surviving Lynn in addition to his wife June, are his daughter, Laurie Kemper (Don Ament) and son James Kemper (Lisa); 3 grandchildren, Steve, James and Leah, and his sister Joan Keath, Ohio.

In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Interment with Military Honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
