This is very sad news for me. Dan and I were pledge brothers along with Bert O’Neill, Chris Fusco, Taylor Metcalfe, Dave Troxel and Dana Consler Guy Ashley and others (Lamda Chi Alpha).  What a time that was!!  It was the best pledge class of the decade(in my opinion), and we had a great time for four years.  I last saw Dan at our tenth year, but I think of him often!!!  I will always hold on to the great memories.   Jim Berry Oklahoma City

To the family and friends of Daniel Kinney, father husband grandfather brother uncle friend  I extend sincere condolences during this difficult heartbreaking time and lift you all up in prayer for peace support and love for one another as you all struggle and navigate thru these difficult days months years. My sympathies to all

November 23, 2021

Dear Pam and family,
My name is Connie Sensenig. My parents, Carl and Arlene Sensenig, remember you well from your excellent service as a hygenist with Doctor Dudas, and hope you can put faces with names yet. My mother spoke highly of you, and misses you as her hygenist, and chatting with you during her dental visits.
We all send our deepest sympathies. I understand that this is a bittersweet season, and I/we have grief at this time too, as I’ve lost my older brother Brian in August this year to complications from an infection and aggressive Colorectal Cancer. Taylor, Adam, and Trent, and any other children: I share your pain and the complex emotions stemming from your loss. (And I wish I could’ve met any of or all of you.) I believe our loved ones who have passed can still feel our happiness, love, and any other good emotions-we are still always connected by love, and through our Heavenly Father.
Brian’s absence is crushing, but because we have faith in Jesus Christ, we believe death is a beginning of a new and much better existence. We hope you find comfort in GOD’s love, and peace that only the Prince of Peace bestows. Life is a gift, and we’re all gifts to each other. After my brother’s passing, a dear friend sent me this message, and I pray it uplifts you as it did me: “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves the memories no one can steal. Your family will continue to be in our prayers.” We will pray for you continually, and hope you can cling to the good memories and make all the best ones you possibly can!
We/I would love to hear from any of you, if there’s a way!

Taylor,
Taylor, I want to encourage your 💔 ..the loss of a parent is excruciating…im so so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in March, she was my Hero, my Best Friend, the only who believed in me when I never believed in myself, she was my life & rock. I’m sure you probably feel the same for your dad.. There’s Never a day…and for 6 months hardly a moment I never thought of her. I visited her home & just sat on the floor crying, led on he bed- holding her pillow, crying & devasted. Its been the HARDEST ( and trust me, I have endured more than a lifetime of hurt for more than 1 person).
I can ONLY imagine how hurt you are, your mom & siblings. Plesse know..  I am here, I am praying… I am a pastor,a nurse & medic & somehow although u have no idea who I am I feel connected. The night your dad passed away I felt prompted to pray for you & your family, especially your mom…but I never knew why!! I found out 2 days later, oh how faithful is our God!. I have been upholding you in prayer before God, I know how hurtful this must be as I have felt it too.
The hours, days & months coming will NOT be anywhere near easy. The memories & pictures in the tribute of your dad, family & friends are beautiful, simple & precious. I’m sure you have many more amazing memories. Hold onto them, sit, reflect on them & thank God. I have a necklace I wear with my momma’s ashes ( my heart filled with her). I often ask Jesus to please send my messages to her as she’s with God now.  🫂🙏💔 I will see her again & that brings me HOPE BEYOND death & the grave.
Just remember what you & your dad built together was a lifetime of love, learning & so much more & some sweet day if your hearts belong to Jesus you will see each other again.
John 3:16- ” For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in ( confesses Him as Lord) shall have everlasting  life. I’m so sorry sweetie for your loss, may God strengthen you all in these days & days to come. Thinking about you with love & prayers,
God bless you all,
Cathy Harris, A prayer warrior u know not, a fan of Chicago Fire & of you., Bonavista, Newfoundland, Canada 🇨🇦

To The Kinney family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr.Kinney. Although I don’t know any of you my  💔’s for you. I know how it feels to lose my parents, just recently my mom. It’s the most difficult thing to go through, this thing called death. My only peace is God. I do pray that as you go through this difficult time in your lives that you will lean on God as he loves you & Mr Kinney so very much. I’m so sorry for your loss. May it help to know that even people who don’t know you are thinking of you & praying for you.
1 Peter 5:7 says,” Casting ALL your cares upon Him(Jesus) for He cares for you”.
With all my love, support & prayers, Cathy Harris, Bonavista- Newfoundland , Canada.  🫂🙏❤

Dear Bevan,
I give you my deepest condolences to you and your family. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.
I will always remember Dan smiling, happy, and by your side. Back when I first started working at Hopper Soliday (my very first job after college) you and Dan were the nicest people, kind and thoughtful. You both took the time to show me the ropes rather than cast me aside. It was also fun to hear stories of the good old days…over many Coors Light (on ice of course) pitchers. That opened my eyes pretty wide!  I’m forever grateful for the time I spent with Dan. He was a one of a kind.
He will forever be missed.
Hugs and Love,
Kelly (O’Brien) Trump

To Bevan, and Dan’s entire family, I am truly sorry about Dan’s passing.  He was my best friend for 20 years and during that time I almost never played a round of golf without him.  He had a great sense of humor and was one of the funniest people I’ve ever known.  I’m so glad he and I were able to stay in touch regularly after I left Lancaster.  He was so proud of all you boys and mentioned each of you almost every time we spoke.  One of my best memories of Dan is when he, Larry Watkins and I would go to watch Bent Creek being built – every evening.  We even played a few holes before there was anything there except dirt.  I know we will all miss him terribly, but we have our memories and I believe we will see him again someday.  I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, now and in the days to come.  God bless all of you.  Steve Dyer
