Dear Family,
 
I was so sorry to read of the death of Perla.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers have been with you all this while.  I deeply regret that I was unable to come to her service; I should like to have spoken with you in person.
 
I knew Perla at St. Joseph Hospital where we both worked.  I followed her when she left Marketing and Public Relations; we both worked for Carol Lehr.
 
Perla was such a delight; I enjoyed being around her.
 
I wish all of you well.
