Reading the obituary I felt such pride in your fathers selfless giving of himself for his country and for others. I too am a burn victim so hold a special place in my heart for firefighters. Thank you George for you service and your purple heart. I know that you will be missed by viewing the large family left behind. But to the family – know, he will always be watching over you and one day, you will all be re-united. He will live on in your memories, stories and dreams until then. My prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Tim;

  As all of us struggle with comforting thoughts and words to convey to you and your family, most of us know that there just isn’t anything that truly heals the spirit after such a great loss. Our parents are there for us from the time we are born. To lose them at any stage of our life, is devastating and creates a very personal crisis. While we all share similar images of our own parents, each person has their own unique relationship with their mothers and fathers, that no one else will ever fully understand. That’s what makes the loss of a parent so tragic and heartbreaking. Some of us have suffered the same kind of loss, but no one should ever pretend to know what you are feeling at a time like this. So I can only offer my deeply felt empathy for the place you find yourself now. I can hope that you don’t have to feel the pain for too long…and that special memories of your father will support a gentle healing of your heart.

Tim, I am deeply saddened by your loss and will keep your family in my prayers.
