Florence I. Kiscadden, 89

Florence Irene Kiscadden, 89, of Lititz   went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at ManorCare. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Maurice N. and Emma L. Walters Kachel. She was the wife of the late Ralph C. Kiscadden who died in 1982.

Florence retired in 1985 from the School District of Lancaster as a custodian. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Lancaster.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing puzzles and shopping.

Surviving are her three daughters: Kathleen Elizabeth Lutz, Lititz, PA, Brenda Joyce wife of Robert Helmick, Mountville, Mary Louise wife of Richard Ludwig, Mountville, seven grandchildren: Marc, Missy, Corey M., Troy, Brian, Corey, Brett, eight great grandchildren: Kali, Owyn, Carter, Candace, Logan, Shane, Connor, Dylan and three sisters: Laura Edith Martin, Evelyn Marie Dunn, Mary Ann wife of Wayne Zimmerman, all of Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons: Troy Michael Ludwig and Marc D. Lutz.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home &Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11:00AM with the Rev. Mark Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11:00AM. Contributions may be made in Florence’s memory to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 750 Greenfield Road, Lancaster, PA 17601.
