George S. Knedeisen, 86

George S. Knedeisen, 86, of Brethren Village, loving husband of Frances with whom he shared over 61 years of marriage, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George A. and Ruth Knedeisen.
He was a graduate of La Salle College High School and Villanova University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
George was a loving husband and father. He was employed for over 30 years with RCA as an electrical engineer, where he received four patents. George was an avid bridge player who became a Silver Life Master.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Carol Thibodeau and her husband Jeffrey, Paul Knedeisen and his wife Kathleen, Mark Knedeisen and his wife Nellie, and Kurt Knedeisen and his wife Cynthia. Also surviving are his sister, Judith Keenan; sister in law, Josephine Marks; brother in law, John Malloy and his wife, Sara; nine loving grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the church on Thursday. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in George’s memory may be made to the Brethren Village Benevolent Fund, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17606 or to St. John Neumann Catholic Church at the above address.

So sorry I missed George’s obituary.  I have known George for several decades playing aginst him or with him at the bridge table.  He was always a polite and considerate opponent and will be missed.  So sorry for your loss.
