Beatrice E. Kneisley, 78
Beatrice E. Kneisley, 78, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Lancaster she was a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Kipphorn Gerlach. She was married to the late Thomas L. Kneisley, Jr.
Mrs. Kneisley was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lititz. She worked as a medical transcriptionist for the former St. Joseph’s hospital and more recently for Manor Family Health, where she had been employed for many years.
Mrs. Kneisley is survived by two daughters: Terry Kneisley of Lancaster, Tracy, wife of John Cardenas of Lititz; a beloved granddaughter, Kallie; 7 grand cats, and 1 grand dog. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 11:00a.m. from Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 200 West Orange Street, Lititz, PA 17543 with Rev. Linda Hanus officiating. There will be a viewing at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Dr. P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.

Tracy, Terry, and all–I’m so sorry for your loss. Sorry, I can’t be there, to support you in person, but you all will be my thoughts and prayers. I have many fond memories of relationships with Tracey, Terry and Bea. And, I also, have Grand-Cats, so can understand the love received by them.

Your mother was/is a gem and I know that she will be missed terribly by you. I think of your family and the interaction with each and every one… starting with your Grandmother and on down. My memories are all fond memories. I still make some of your Mother’s recipes and I still have the pink and blue clothes pins that I gathered at your baby shower, Tracy. I lost my Mother last year and I know that it is tough. Your Mother is in good hands, now. Please, accept my most sincere sympathies about you precious Mother.

Dear Terri and Tracy,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a lovely person. My mother (Martha Wise) enjoyed her company when they played cards together with Rudy Groff and Annabelle Schultz. I got to know her from Lafayette School when I taught Tracy in kindergarten. My mother is gone now, too, but she will always be with me, as your mother will be with you. Again, my condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
