My sweet niece, Itty, I think about you every day… Aunt Jo knows you are in a peaceful realm in heaven with Nanny, Poppop and the others.  We miss your presence in this earthly realm and everything about your individuality.  Our hearts still hurt that you’re gone from us physically yet there are so many things that remind us that your spirit is still here.  We are staying strong as you would want and covering JJ and mommy and Jason as well as Gams, Coley and Kyle.  Your cousins miss you like crazy but comfort one another in love.  You’re never far from our thoughts each day.  I love you niecey….  Peace be still.

To the whole family and all those who love you and EEEEEshie.  I am so sorry that Jess and I could not attend the service.  But I watched it from home.  Jeff, myself, Jess and  Jeffrey (who Iesha always had a crush on), my sister Lori and my dad all cry and mourn.  But as Cassandra and I discussed, Iesha went home and that brings me comfort.  Love to Pam, Jason, Colie, Kyle, Jayden ,Court, Lance, Marcus, Tina,Jordie, Aunts, Uncles, the whole family and friends! I am truly blessed to have met such a wonderful young woman with such a warm and loving family. You were first my patient but grew to be my little sister. Our bond, unbreakable. I will forever cherish these last few month’s we spent together. And not a day will go by that I will not think of you. Your smile, your laugh, you yelling my name a thousand times just to annoy me. Your warm hugs, (you always seemed to know just when I needed one the most.) I will always hold you dear to my heart. Thank you for giving me the honor of being your nurse and big sister. You are truly missed by us all, here at Harborview. Rest in paradise love bug.

Some of my fondest memories of Iesha are early ones when we interacted at church. She was near my daughter Christina’s age and when we arrived at church Iesha came right over with us (thumb in mouth) and cozied up on the blanket I laid out of the floor. She also knew to reach in my bag for animal crackers. After praise and worship we hung out in the nursery together. And one week when I watched her each day while her mom went to work. She and Christina napped together in the crib and once we went to the County Park and they ran around together in the leaves. I know she was 27 when she departed from this earth, but in my heart she is always “baby girl” to me. May God comfort and give peace to her parents and family. Love forever. Ann Gantt
