Sorry to hear of Mr. Krall’s passing. He was so full of fun and mischief. He had such a way with the teenagers. Took no guff and certainly didn’t fear disciplining them. And yet they all loved him. I’m glad some of my children were fortunate to know him. They have fond memories and I do too. May God comfort all his family and may he rest in peace. Ginny Anspach

Mrs. Krall, Kathy, Joe and family,
I am sorry for your loss. When we moved back to Lancaster in the late 80’s, it was comforting to see great people like Joe involved, especially at LCHS when our sons attended and played sports. It is wonderful that he leaves a large family to extend his class and grace. God bless you all.

Much sorrow sent to you Dottie and family. Thoughts of Joe bring a smile to face. His honest approach and deep sensitivity. I remember sharing conversation with Joe as he would wait during your haircuts, Dottie.  Deep, funny, and always on point. His short visits made me ponder and add more prayer to my life.
Peace, comfort, and joy to know that Joe is surely at God’s side.
Love. Barb Herr

I would like to send my deepest condolences to the Krall family.  I had over the years worked for Joe at Wyeth , I always liked and respected Joe.  Not only did I work for Joe but he and Dottie were one of our Pre-cana counselors 34 years ago!  This inturn opened the door to him sharing his faith with me.  If there is one thing I did know about Joe was, his faith and his family were always first and foremost .  God has called a wonderful man home.  My thoughts and my prayers are with you Dottie and your family!
May God’s Peace Be With All Of You,Terri Mowrer

The Bernhardt Family has been saddened to hear of passing of “Mr. Krall”.  When my dad called to tell me of his passing it made me stop and think of many things.
Everytime I come back to Lancaster and pass the Krall home on Wheatland Avenue it reminds me of growing up with the family in the neighborhood and at Sacred Heart.  To list a few memories:  The Blue Station wagon and getting a ride to LCHS football games; While playing in the alley, seeing Mr. & Mrs. Krall  sitting on the back patio in the summertime (the last time I saw him, in 2002, he was sitting out there and we got a chance to talk);  Tennis at F&M; Sacred Heart Basketball lessons he would preach:  “Use peripheral vision” and “You don’t have to be fast but you do need to be quick and tough”;  Setting up for Bingo every 3rd Sunday of the month at Sacred Heart after 9 AM Mass; he loved baseball and basketball and came to many games.  This morning, my dad reminded me of a time that he and Mr. Krall got lost in a snow storm on the way to my LCHS basketball game at Hempfield.
May he rest in peace and may your entire family be comforted at this sad time to know that Mr. Krall was always a solid influence to those of us who knew him.  With our heartfelt sympathy, Pat Bernhardt, and the entire Bernhardt Family:  Carl & Patsy; Cindy; & Christopher

I was saddened to read of Mr. Krall’s passing.  He was a wonderful human being.  He was always sincere when he asked about my family.  He could make you smile with his unique sense of humor.  His family was blessed to have him as their father and husband.  A role model for all of us.
RIP and peace,

So sorry for your loss. It’s so hard to loose our loved ones. I introduced myself to your mother the other day, Kathy. She lives near my mother in law’s apartment. I hope she remembered to tell you. My Moms has an apartment too. So many fond memories of our school days. I know our parents are well cared for at St Anne’s.    Patti Heiland Baxter.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Krall and family on the passing of Mr. Krall to eternal life. I have known and admired Mr. Krall seemingly forever. He was a very kind, thoughtful, and engaging person who went out of his way for everyone. He was a very spiritual person and devoted to the Lord. He always had interesting insights to share in Scripture Study gatherings at Sacred Heart Church. I always enjoyed hearing him lector at Mass at Sacred Heart and at St. Joe’s with his emphasis on clarity and sharing the Word with his uniquely deep voice. He was our neighbor on Wheatland Avenue and was very kind and a great friend to my parents, especially my Dad. They would have wonderful conversations on our front porch, enjoying time together and laughing together over many things. It was always such a pleasure to see him and spend time with him. Mr. Krall also worked with my great Aunt Laura Kugle at Wyeth in Marietta for many years. I really appreciated Mr. Krall’s help and support when I was the reading specialist at Lancaster  Catholic High School. He really cared about the students’ progress and did a lot to encourage them to pursue excellence. Mr. Krall was always a man of firm convictions and really lived a truly Christian life. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. May the Lord bless you all during this difficult time and give you His peace and love.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Krall family.  I remember Mr. Krall who was our neighbor and dear friend of my
father for many years.  They lived two doors down and his family was always very kind to us.  Mr. Krall would always stop to talk whenever we saw him in his yard.  Many fond memories of the Krall family. We will all miss him. To Barb, my friend, I wish you well and we will always remember your father as a wonderful friend and neighbor.
Love, Josette Celia Dannessa and family
