As a concierge at the Willow Valley North desk, I will miss Dick Kramer’s delightful personality.  He consistently greeted people with a smile, special comments and willingness to help others.  I truly enjoyed his sunny disposition and frequent chats.  As as a person with a kind heart, he will be remembered and sorely missed.

I met Dick and Carol when I had just started my own business and did work for them at Willow Valley.  It was 1996 and we immediately hit it off because I had also graduated from Juniata College, along with my husband and business partner!  We did many jobs for them over the years (furniture repair) and I vividly remember their wall of photos in the living room!!  They were so proud of their family and shared stories and updates on each one during every visit we made!  Family meant the world to them and we knew they were also loved and cherished!  I’m happy they are together now.  I grieve with you all and regret that I will be unable to attend his celebration of life!  You were blessed to have him as your father, grandfather and friend! Our heartfelt Sympathy to Dick’s family on his passing. Dick and I have been friends since he joined the Rotary Club in 1995. He was committed to his family and spoke often of them and how proud he was of them. I will miss you my friend and our conversations on many topics on our trips to our Rotary Club Meetings.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the Kramer family for many years. The love and committment Mr. & Mrs. Kramer had for one another was deep and abiding. Their love of their daughters was all encompassing and from that grew a proud family tree.  Your mom and dad are never far from you, always remember that and you will feel them all around !
