Condolences to the Family

July 23, 2022

Dear Wally, Aunt Lucille,Steve, and Ciara,  We’re so saddened and sorry that cousin Albert has passed and taken from us so young!   Could hardly believe that news when we heard it.  Al was always so happy and smiling with such a good sense of humor.  Everyone loved him and he will truly be missed but will be remembered for the happiness  he brought to us all.  Love , Deb, Brett, Maddie xxx

I’m not even sure when or how I met Al other than I know it was at work, at Paychex. He wasn’t my supervisor, but honestly? I think we were just similar souls that connected in passing in the hallways. We worked on the fun committee together, and gossiped and shared holiday office decor. Al consistently met me with a big bear hug and something to laugh about. Al talked about Wally in a way that made everyone want a husband like him- I felt like I knew Wally as well as I did Al and never got to meet him.
I’m so heartbroken to hear this news and will miss Al’s beautiful soul. Sending all the love, hugs and prayers to Wally and Al’s family.

I am so shocked and sorry to read of Al’s passing. As a courier for Susquehanna Bank, I saw Al day in and day out, and always enjoyed his fun loving personality. Over the years we would run into each other, and he was the same ole boisterous Al. I will always cherish the beautiful Christmas ornaments he gave me one year as a present. My thoughts are with you Wally, and of course Al’s family.

I had the honor to work with Al. He could always put a smile on your face. He was good at making sure everyone felt accepted and included. He spoke often of trips and vacations he had taken, I loved listening to those stories and getting travel ideas. I am so sad to see his time was cut short. From working with him I could tell he was a light to anyone he met and I am sure the family he left behind will need time to heal and remeber that Al’s light is not gone from the world but lives on in our hearts and minds forever. – Brittany Doughty
